Project Rationale
In Spring 2014 after listening to more tragic events on the news I wondered what we could do as individuals
to foster harmony and peace in our world, especially on the centenary anniversary of WW1 In 2014.
We sell and produce custom designed 24 Karat Gold bars in various sizes for investment, gifts and corporates.
In May we had a meeting with our refinery to discuss future cards and I mentioned my idea for a Peace Card and my vision for the card, they also liked the idea. Due to other commitments, at that point we decided it would be a future project and we would raise funds for charity from the sales.
In January 2015, confronted with the horrific murders in France, the in-rest and other brutal murders around the globe. We also witnessed people of different cultures and religions joining together peacefully in Paris, which stirred up strong emotions of a more positive kind. At that point I realized that our Peace card needed to be developed straight away but also we needed to get to the hearts of people and encourage them to not just purchase an attractive investment bar but to take on board the meaning, keep it in their wallet and remember how small gestures by each of us can make a difference. I also had some songs that I wanted to put together with the card , the main song that came into my head in the beginning was “Let there be Peace on Earth and let it begin with Me” – certainly words to live by. The philanthropist in me believe we can run our business and also try to do some good in the world. My husband Marcel and I came up with the idea of a Peace Campaign tour of the 50 United States as well as some other countries, on all continents, to discourage bullying and promote peace as individual people, in a non-political way and without bias to any religion but to embrace each and every person as a fellow human being to create Ambassadors for Peace.

Project Description
Sell our Peace gold bars and other memorabilia products around the world and contribute a portion from every sale to Peace charities around the globe, depending on what countries the cards are sold. We would like to make the contribution fair and relevant to the purchases in each country.
The creation of a downloadable ‘feel good’ Peace album in conjunction with Apple and other sponsors / artists.
Also, we are discussing a World Peace concert for the future.
When we hit the roads of the USA we intend traveling in a “smart” RV and utilizing the most current technology and being an “attention grabber” with our sponsors and partners logos on the vehicle! Embark on a USA tour visiting several cities in each state to promote peace, tolerance and foster good relations. We would like to engage with and visit schools, churches and other places of worship. We envisage the tour would last around 1 -2 years. Some travel overseas will also be necessary to promote the cause in other countries/continents. We would also like to highlight and promote “good news” stories we discover along our journey. The ultimate aim is to create ambassadors of peace – promoted by the hashtag #IamPeaceAmbassador
Working with our partners and sponsors, promote the campaign via the project’s website and social media, using various platforms and blogs to keep in touch with our supporters while also bringing value and publicity to our sponsors who we envisage will benefit from extra business and will be promoted as our #IamPeaceAmbassadorPartners

Project Scope
We would like to sell Peace Ambassador cards worldwide – we will create the cards with gold and silver bars. Also plastic with no precious metal and a downloadable graphic in order to make it affordable and inclusive to all. There are currently new products in the pipeline!
We want people to embrace each others cultures and differences and learn more and therefore understand that people are different but we can all live together in peace, harmony and respect. We aim to encourage people to link together and learn a little about other languages via schools, clubs or independently. They can travel virtually on-line to view other countries and how people live.
The purpose of this campaign is very simple – We all want peace and to feel our children can grow up safe in a world of love and free from battle, hate, prejudice and bullying. We aim to donate proceeds from product sales to worthwhile charities that foster peace and harmony or help those who have suffered due to any hate campaign or victims of atrocity.
2014 was the 100th anniversary of the start of World War 1. We attended a commemorative event while in the UK.
The war ended in 1918 which will be more of a reason to celebrate, however, it would be more meaningful if as many people as possible committed to foster peace and goodwill in the world.

We will be engaging with stores on shopping malls to sell our cards and promoting technology to help them sell. We anticipate bringing on more partners along the journey as the project gains momentum on our tour.

Objectives
In 2015 because of the coming USA elections, we made changes in our plan. We decided to start to travel in the fall of 2016. Asia was our first destination. Over a period of 6 months, we have experienced life in countries that have been savaged by wars such as Vietnam and Cambodia. Our plan is to make our USA RV tour after we finish in Asia. We would like to commence the tour from 2019 - 2020. (Our RV trip was postponed due Covid-19)
